Kaz gives excellent advice. He uses color, not bleach, to maintain the health of the hair, and the first process was a long one. “People don’t realize that when you do a big color change you have to think about how it will affect your wardrobe, your makeup and your lifestyle. It’s important to consider these factors when drastically changing the color of your hair. Talk to a makeup artist about what you need to update your look and a wardrobe expert about colors that work with the new hair color.

From the Start

“It’s also super important to understand the kind of condition your hair is in and if it can it take the chemical process, so I urge clients to address this with their colorist. If you go lighter your hair will be more compromised than if you are going red or darker. It’s hard to remove red from hair so be sure you want to make that commitment. It can take up to a year to go light again—but going dark is not a problem.”

“Use good quality shampoo and conditioner like L’Oreal Professionnel Expert Force Vector—a new line that reinforces anti-breakage and protects hair from chemical processes. L’Oreal also makes pre-color treatments that you can use up to three weeks prior to your service. This will strengthen the hair and help it get ready for the change. I always tell my clients to take vitamins, like Hair Force, that are specifically designed for strengthening hair—these can be found at your local health food store.”

O.P while living in South Beach, Florida in the 80's began to be involved in editorial work. House of Chanel in the 90’s noticed his talent and offered him a position as a National Makeup Artist. He made personal appearances in Chanel Boutiques, Neiman Marcus, Bergdoff Goodman, Barney's, Henry Bendell, Saks Fifth Ave along with many more specialty and department stores showcasing his gift.
In the mid-90’s O.P had the opportunity to meet his mentors Dominique Montetouis and Heidi Hoartz, the creators of Beaute for the House of Chanel. In 1994 Dominique gave O.P his passport as “Citizen of the World” for House of Chanel, where he and all other “Citizens” met to collaborate and create new trends for Chanel Beaute.

All about Experience

Through his years of experience O.P developed his own techniques which now he wants to share with the world. He has created a line of makeup that brings affordable luxury cosmetics. His mission is “Making the World Beautiful One Woman at a Time.” His approach to educating everyone is to keep it simple and easy. He has created a method of instructions that anyone can follow and enjoy doing.
Makeup Artistry: Two worlds. “Makeup” equals technique, while “Artistry” is the individual just combining colors that express the customers’ personality. O.P’s seminars are fun with easy to follow techniques which you learn the logical approaches on the application of colors, as well as the art of selling cosmetics.
